Jen - It's a Perfect Portions Nutrition Scale. I got it for Christmas from my mom and so far I love it! (she bought it at Bed Bath and Beyond.) It has really helped out a lot. Those foods I was guessing on I'm now getting exact carb counts on. I never thought I would like a scale so much! :)

LOL about Reyna! You are so right!

Very nice! I sent a banana in as a snack with Caleb today and weighed it with the peel on and applied by scientific 65% and got a similar result. :) Your picture has given me confidence!

PS - When we were at D camp this year, the kids had a scavenger hunt and part of it was answering D questions. One of which was how many carbs is in a banana. My kids answered 20-25 and were told they were wrong it's 15. I took exception to that saying that had to be one small banana. I have yet to meet a 15 carb banana. :)

I was going to ask about the scale, too!

I think I have a BBB coupon.

So you think it's easy to use? I was wondering if one of these scales would add more work to my life or make it easier.

If Bed Bath & beyond does not have it - it is not in stock online, Then they have it in several colors at Amazon for $49.99 including free shipping. http://amzn.to/dKu9Jk

It is pretty easy to use. I am going to blog about it later this month. I wanted to use it for a month before I said too much about it.

It is a little more work but with Lovebug being so sensitive to carbs (i.e. when we do a 15/15 fix it's a 8/15 fix unless she is below 60. 8 carbs will easily raise her bg 15 to 20 points. It's a litte insane.)the extra work is worth it for us.
